Delhi  Govt. says that the profit margin on medicine and other consumables should be maximum 50%

ON 29th may 2018 delhi govt. held a press confrense  reducing and limiting the profit margins for the hospitals and medical bodies

At a press conference, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain announced that the government would put a draft advisory in the public domain for 30 days, Mr. Jain said that in December 2017, the government formed a nine-member committee to look into “complaints of overcharging” and other issues at private hospitals and the panel’s report recommended various measures, which comprise the advisory.

delhi goivt also said that there should be a 50%waiver iif the the patient dies in 6 hrs of admission.Similarly 20 % if the patient dies in 24hrs of admission.

mr jain also said that hospitals can not refuse to release the body if the bill is not paid.And also acceptance in the transpercy in the packakages sold by the hosptals
